It has 'POP'
The new floor is down in the kitchen and it looks great, Thanks to Patti who helped pick it out. The cat is surveying his new domain.
Next is the carpet and then the finish painting and trim work.

Not Chopped Liver
Marlene, a friend, invited a number of our friends to attend the dedication of a Native American Memorial in a Park in South St. Paul. Marlene's sister's (Jeanie) husband created it. It took six years. Liz, another of our friends, went with us.
Afterwards we went to the reception at El Burrito, Mercado. We had beans, rice, and chicken tacos. Very authentic.
Peanuts!
The on the way home we decided to stop at the "Back to the 50's Car Show" We met with another of our friends, Joanne. She gave us a tour of her Motor Coach. (Volvo chassis, 13.6 liter diesel with 13 speed Eaton Roadranger manual transmission)
We missed Patti, but we are planning another adventure soon.

History
Not much has happened lately, the house is still torn up from the flood, I was in Georgia for 10 days, and I have been trying to get some of the yard and house projects done. At the airport in Atlanta, I noticed some very interesting artwork. I stopped and asked an attractive lady about it and she said she was meeting the Toyota People (wanted to know it I was one) and that she didn't know anything about it. I told her I was a General Motors person and she said she was sorry. Be that as it may, I took some pictures for the blog.
And that has been the high point of my life in the past few weeks.
I have gotten some more of Walter's pictures scanned and will post a couple.
Look at the smile on that idiot's face!
On the back of this picture was the note in Elonet's handwriting. People don't believe we used to all eat together in the kitchen of the Wadsworth house.
