Mexican Adventure 2014

We had a very nice time in Mexico this year.
Kate and her family went down right after Christmas, I followed the next Sunday (before New Years) and Liz came down the 3rd of January when Kate was going home.
The "Little One" swimming in the ocean.  He loves it, no fear at all.
Enjoying the waves.
We saw an alligator at the marina for Ixtapa Island.  The "Little One" wanted to ride him.
Kate in front of the sunset.
The BEHM wearing a Space Suit.  Is he a future astronaut?
Is that a piñata?
Lobsters for New Years.

Liz came down the following week.  My sister was also to come down but the weather did not cooperate and her flight was cancelled.
Liz and I visited and toured the Mayan Ruins south of Ixtapa.  In the background is a "ball court".

They are working on restoring a pyramid.

This is a marker stone the people found under the floor of their church.

Some people doing their laundry.

The next day we went to Ixtapa Island to go snorkeling.
Here we are on the ferry.
A real mermaid!!!
Walking on the volcanic rocks later.

Christmas 2013

I went to my friend Alex's Party this year.
My friends I used to work with, some are 'old' friends.
Dee.

The "Little One" with Night-night.
Freddy and Frankie at their Christmas Pageant.
The Little One and the BEHM at their Christmas Pageant.
Making Christmas Cookies.
What concentration.
Liz flirting with Santa, did she get anything special I wonder?
Sitting down for dinner.  We had rib roast and lobster tails.  But no pictures.  Maybe Gerardo and Kate, or Fritz and Patricia got some.  I didn't take a single picture of dinner!!  Woe is me.
Our Christmas Family photo.

I am off to Mexico.

Thursday's with GrandPa

On Thursday's I have Kate's kids over to my house.
Here they are showing off their new "bings".  I don't heat my house much so they need to stay bundled up.
They are like little sharks.
The "Little One" prefers to go barefoot.
We are off shopping.  Must be nap time.
The two of them helping me bake cookies.
I love people who really get into their work.
After a hard day at Grand Pa's house nothing is better than a glass of milk, a pickle, and watching "Curious George" from the recliner.
