Thanksgiving Adventure - Piano Moving.

I picked up Fritz and Patrica at the airport on Wednesday. Little did they know what was in store for them.
Piano Moving! My piano ready for the move. Gerardo has been taking lessons and I promised him a year ago that he could have my piano. Moving it has been a challenge.
Gerardo riding in the trailer with it. Parked in front of Kate's house. What a caravan.
We pushed the trailer across the lawn to unload the piano onto Kate and Gerardo's patio. To get it into the house we had to set it on the end on a piece of cardboard and slide it on the carpet. Another job done.

All Done!!

The moving crew.

Weekly Update

Pre Thanksgiving present.
What is that in the Blazer?
It looks like a bunch of orange pipes. What could it be?It is a shop crane! Just what I will need for putting the transmission back in the Honda.

In other news, I am getting ready for Thanksgiving. Cleaning house, shopping, and doing all those other jobs about getting ready. Fritz is coming home for the Holiday so we should be having a good time and getting plenty of pictures to blog.

Beer Refrigerator

I have been wanting a beer refrigerator for the garage for a long time but have not been able to find one for free. I read Craig's list (free section) from time to time. Last week, I found one about three miles from my house. Called them and the guy said that he had had about six calls and the first person there would get it. Having a 'Tin Man' to guard it, I was off to get it. It has an old musty smell but it is a "Beer Refrigerator". I will wash it out again after Thanksgiving and put some more baking soda into it.

Honda Clutch Work

I made a "Tin Man" to help me with my jobs around the house it he helped a lot. It was almost like having a second set of hands, though the Tin Man has no fingers. My friend, Dean, came over and I finally got the transaxle out of the Honda. This project has been in my garage all summer. The "Tin Man" pitched in too. Pressure plate and clutch disc. I think we got all the life out of them that they had to give. Now if I can only remember where everything goes. The clutch disk is worn right to the rivets.
Nice groove worn in the pressure plate. I will order new parts this week from e-bay.

We had a nice turnout of Tricker-Treaters this year. The Gangster and Motorcycle Buddy.
A Perfect Little Angel.

Hanna Montana? and a little Friend I didn't recognize.
SuperGirl wanted to know why 'her' dog couldn't go home with her.
Of course, "Super Pug" wanted to go with everyone.

Kate and Gerardo and Liz came over and we had a nice dinner, enjoyed the Trick-er-Treaters and watch a movie on my new TV.
