This is Fred’s site set up to communicate with my friends and relatives. It is just a journal of my travels and adventures. I think it is an easy way to keep in touch.

Yard and Car Work Weekend
Even with my hurt knee, I was able to get some work done around the house.
Kate helped me cut some of the vines and I loaded up the Astro to go to the Recycle.
Astro full of recycle.
Sunday afternoon car work.
Warren stopped over on Sunday afternoon to change some tires on the Cavalier. We did eight tires in 3 hours. Boy did my knee hurt then.
Pete's Harbor Freight Tire changer. Saved us almost $160.
Warren is a pro at changing tires.
New Project
My new project is a 1990 Honda Accord with ignition problems. I am going to order a used distributor from e-bay. It will be my first experiment with e-bay.
Once a month, I get together with some friends. This month I was in charge of the event. We met at my house and went to dinner at the Medina Entertainment Center to have our fortunes read. Liz showed us the quilt she is working on.

A bear paw sewn in the corner
That is NOT a bear paw, it is an outline of a bear. Looks like a Fat Kasin.
Patti having her fortune told at dinner. Ruth Lordan was the psychic and was very good.
After dinner, Fred, Marlene, Liz, Joanne, and Patti.
Two weeks ago I was in the Pharmacy to get a prescription refilled and walking out not paying attention I twisted my knee. I have been in terrible pain ever since. I went to Urgent Care and my regular Doctor but they will not send me to the orthopedist till the end of the month. I explained to him the hereditary knees we have, and the benefits of prompt action but he said, "Come back on the 29th and we will discuss it." I should have taken in this picture.

Auto repair with Liz.
I fixed my friend Liz's muffler on her Saturn. Liz called me on Thursday to say that her muffler had fallen off and would I help her. It is just my kind of project, I said I would love to help her. After examining the problem, I felt the best way to fix it was to buy the correct bracket from Saturn. Liz paid $40 for the correct bracket, shown holding it, and I installed it but it didn't fit. What a disaster.
The next day at work I had the guys in the shop make me a strap with which I replaced the Saturn bracket. Liz was going to get her money back for the Saturn Bracket.
Kasin the cat, sad and lonely.
Kasin acts oddly all the time now when he used to act oddly only occasionally. Here he is giving me, The Look.
