Monthly update

While I am still recovering from knee surgery, (I am still in incredible pain) I am getting back to my normal existence
This week I had the "Little One" and his brother and we made 'snicker-doodles' cookies.
"Where are the cookies Grandpa?" he asks.
Here they are doing their homework.
Then a couple of minutes of TV while I am making dinner.

I let Kate use my Saturn and she complained that the rear brakes were making noise.
I asked Fritz to come over and help me get the car jacked up, because I can't get down on my knee, and he stayed to help me check out the brakes.
We had some difficulty in getting the parking brake lever attached to the cable, the cable on the Saturn had a plastic covering and the slot in the brake lever was too small, and I had to grind out the slot a bit to get it installed.
Here are the old shoes, I guess I got my money's worth out of them.

I have an old Toro snow-blower and the beater cylinder started to disintegrate.  I had to make some patches and repair it so I could blow my snow.
One of the patches.
Where is the snow?
Close up of disintegrating rotor.  I added the two Philips screws.

Comments:
Where is the snow?!? Yikes!?! Don't be sending that white stuff down this way...keep it up there where it belongs. Do you realize we have had more snow already this year than normal? Record low temperatures?!? Where is global warming?!? Yikes!

Are you still going to therapy? Taking you pain meds? You should be seeing improvement very soon.

Cookies look great.
