Knee Replacement Surgery

September was a busy month.  With everything else in my life I had knee replacement surgery at the end of the month.  I was in the hospital, in incredible pain, for three days, till I finally said, "I have done this enough, I want to go home!"  
 In physical therapy.
 Oh what pain
Using a walker.
Here I am trying to get comfortable in my kitchen.  Still quite swollen.
 With the bandage off.
 Making an apple pie.  Poor Liz, it is the only thing I have done in the last three weeks.
 Here is the 'Little One' saying, "Be brave Grandpa, it will get better."  He was wearing his lion suit to cheer me up.

Fred, take it a day at a time. Every day you are making small steps, maybe not as fast as you want, but as fast as your body can make them. You have had major surgery.... rest, do your exercises. It will get better....
