Selected Meals in Turkey.
People are always interested in what I eat so I will post some pictures of some of the meals with some short discriptions.
This was a combination plate of various Turkish meats.
These are grilled chicken filets.
This was meat cooked inside a rolled up pastry shell. The onions are quite sweet and are eaten like lettuce in a salad. there was also a lot of parsley in the salad.
This was also grilled chicken, the white is yogurt, which they use like sour cream as a condiment.
Trip to the Market.
On Sunday we went to the farmer's market to see what we were going to eat for dinner.
These are some fish at the Sunday market. Some were still alive.
These are nice sized ones that I would be interested in baking with stuffing.
Fresh vegetables and fruits.
These look good.
Egg Plant, very popular in Turkey.

That looks excellent! I thought there would be more lamb than chicken.
