When In Doubt, Blog Food

Last Sunday I went to a Chinese Restaurant, Katia. Breaded Shrimp.
Pot Stickers.
I was hungry and didn't get a picture of the entree. I will do better in the future.

The week before we went to Zhivago's, one of the more expensive restaurant in Perm.
I had the seafood pasta. It was excellent.
Fresh made bread and rolls.
Steak.
A Russian dish. Also excellent.

Comments:
Yum! I love pictures of local cuisine. Wondering if you've purchased any US products such as Coke or Mountain Dew?

Well, it looks like the are treating you well! Corrine

Did you know that the fictional town of Yuriatin in the book, Dr. Zhivago, is based on Perm where Pasternak had lived for part of the Second World War? That the original of the public reading room at Yuriatin was the Pushkin Library in Perm?

Was the dark bread served with the seafood pasta pumpernickel? The meals look tasty, that's for sure!
