2008 Minnesota State Fair
Off to the fair. 
Off to the Fair. This year we drove and parked at the Fair instead of riding the bus. We were worried that we would have a hard time finding a parking place but we went at 5:30 in the morning so there was plenty of parking. (Oh that must be a misprint, I mean we went at 9:00 A.M.)
Minnesota's biggest Pumkin. Because the growing season is so short in Minnesota, this pumpklin was started in 1973.

No home wind generators, but I looked at the heat mores. Kate had the cheese curds, I had a pronto pup, donuts, and two beers at the pravilion. They had glee clubs from around the state.
Cheese curds and cold beer at the pavilion: what could be better? Perhaps a rock 'n roll band playing the 'chicken dance'?
