Thanksgiving in Los Angeles
This year I went to Fritz's house for Thanksgiving Dinner. It was very good, all the traditional favorites. It was the first time that Patricia's family had tried "Green Bean Casserole", it being 'Fly-over-Food'.
Friday, Patricia, Fritz and I took a tour of the Los Angeles area. I saw Hollywood, Universal Studios, and the downtown area. It was a nice tour.
We saw a winery, one of the oldest in California, but it was closed so I was not able to get a sample. I enjoyed my trip, it was a very nice experience and I enjoyed meeting Patricia's family.

Early Thanksgiving 2006
This year we are celebrating an early Thanksgiving because we will all be out of town. Fred is off to California for a couple of days to see Fritz. Kate and Gerardo are off to Thailand on a tour of the far east.
We deep fried a turkey out on the grill. It was very good and only took 40 minutes to cook. Here Fred is checking the oil temperature and watching it cook.

Halloween Trick and Treaters
We had a fairly good crop of visitors this year. Kate and Gerardo helped to pass out the candy and YiYu was of course excited about the whole event.
