Friday Adventure, 22 May 2006
We were off again in search of Minnesota Wineries. This trip we saw three (only saved pictures of two) The first was the St. Croix Winery where we picked apples last fall<http://fred-hemker.blogspot.com/2005/10/first-week-in-october.html>, then Northern Vineyards in Stillwater, and last to WineHaven near Taylor Falls. We stopped at Cesare's Wine Bar again because we forgot it doesn't open till 5:00 PM.
We had a light lunch at the park in Osceola on the St Croix River, even though the water was cold, some kids were swimming, then it was off to our favorite stop, the Sculpure Park. 
This year they had a giant metal man on display and were building a house out of cut-up 5 gallon buckets. Fred was very interested in the technique because our house needs shingles.
