April Update
I have a sad story from Mexico. Gerardo's 'Uncle Beto' gave me a new hat while we were at the beach. I proceeded to loose it.
I felt so bad that I came home and decided to make my own hat. I talked to Liz and she said that if I made a pattern she would help me. This was the old hat that Beto gave me that we are trying to copy.
Here I am working on making a pattern.
I have to leave room for the hems.
I googled to find out if I could get a professional pattern but we could not find anything on line. Liz did find a pattern for a girl's hat. She made one but it didn't fit me.
The hat ended up being a little harder than I thought, so I made a new wallet.
I made a pattern and Liz helped me cut it out and sew it up.
I made it out of drapery material, I think it is nice. I didn't understand how the 'hems" worked but I will make a new improved pattern when I need to replace this one.
My flowers are starting to bloom.
